Fromage La Rue have been specialising in illuminated letters since 2009. We're a Sydney-based design duo and we love design in all it's forms - graphic, typographical, street art, architectural, industrial. We're also proud to be a part of the growing Australian handmade industry.

We create oversized illuminated letters and symbols, statement signage and custom pieces for just about any application. Whether you’re looking for a unique way to illuminate your child’s room, an interior lighting solution for your workplace, or a fabulous gift, our products are the perfect statement piece.

Our work is designed to be rough around the edges, each light is made by hand, not by machines, it's a response to our overly digital world, a chance to produce something without a keyboard, and to incorporate imperfections that surround us everyday that we try not to see. We design our own fonts, re-use off-cuts, and make our own sustainable, re-usable packaging.

We accept custom orders depending on our current workload, so if you've got a brilliant idea and no idea how to execute it, get in touch and we'll let you know if we can take it on. And yes we know our name makes no sense, but hey, life's too short to be serious all the time...
